Synopsis
Hako Duljević, a resident of Međugor in Pešter, Serbia, stood against the violence of World War II in 1943. Amidst a majority Muslim population, a faction allied with the Gestapo targeted the Orthodox village of Buđevo for destruction. Despite widespread opposition, the attack proceeded. Hako intervened to save Ratomirka Minić, escorting her to safety in Doliće. His actions led to his execution by German forces. For eighty years, the truth of his bravery remained hidden, affecting his family, particularly his namesake grandson.
