Wenhua Shi returns to Wuhan, retracing the steps of his childhood. He captures the city's textures and colors on 16mm film, using in-camera edits to document how these locations change throughout the day. Named after the Japanese Gutai movement, which translates to "body tool" in Chinese, Shi's work reflects a personal connection to place. The film presents a tactile exploration of memory and the physicality of the environment.
