Synopsis
Aliaksiej Ščadroŭ, a former paramedic in Belarus, faced a stark transformation after his time in prison. Once responsible for picking up homeless individuals, he became one of them, living in church buildings after his release. Settling in Aliaksandraŭka village, he established an unofficial asylum for the poor and disabled, providing care and assistance in obtaining reissued passports. His efforts to help others, however, have met with resistance from local authorities.
