Synopsis

Yasmin reflects on her life as part of a transnational family that fled Somalia during the civil war. Now living in different countries, the family faces a crucial decision when Yasmin's grandmother wants to leave her exile in Ethiopia. This situation leads to discussions about where she should live. The film follows four generations of this refugee family as they confront their dreams and the reality of their scattered lives.
