Synopsis
Arzu, a former player from the Turkish-Kreuzberg girls’ football team Ağrı Spor, reflects on her life in Berlin nearly three decades after a 1995 film by Aysun Bademsoy. Now in her late forties, Arzu reunites with teammates Türkan, Nalan, and Nazan to discuss their past aspirations and current realities. Bademsoy also interviews their daughters, who are approaching adulthood and grappling with issues of adaptation, tradition, and identity. The film reveals how the question of being German remains complex across generations.
