Synopsis

Marcos Tiarajú was born in 1985 at Fazenda Annoni, a settlement created by the Landless Workers' Movement (MST) in Brazil. As the first child in the settlement, he faces obstacles growing up. At 22, he travels to Cuba for a medical fellowship. His experiences in Cuba lead to personal growth. "Fruto da Terra" follows Tiarajú's life, focusing on his community's challenges and the role of education in his ambitions. The film runs for 15 minutes and was directed by Tetê Moraes.
