Synopsis
A military dictatorship interrupted a meeting between filmmaker Eduardo Coutinho and peasant activist Elizabeth Teixeira in 1964.
Synopsis
Elizabeth Teixeira recalls her life in Brazil during the military dictatorship that began in 1964. Filmmaker Eduardo Coutinho first met Teixeira that year, but their conversation was cut short by political upheaval. They reconnect in the early 1980s to reflect on the struggles faced by rural communities. Coutinho's film revisits their earlier discussions from "Twenty Years Later." It addresses the ongoing impact of political turmoil on those fighting for their rights in Brazil.
