Tin Ojeda captures surfers in action across the USA, Central America, Australia, and Indonesia in Free Jazz Vein. This 47-minute experimental surf film uses super 16mm film to evoke a vintage 1970s aesthetic. Ojeda, who shot and edited the film, contrasts stunning beach sunsets and pro surfers gliding through waves with scenes of nearby poverty and hints of political unrest.
