Synopsis
Eleven-year-old Anne attends school in the Netherlands. She has Gilles de la Tourette’s syndrome, which causes involuntary tics such as spinning and licking. Anne worries about being bullied and judged by her classmates. She tries to suppress her tics but struggles with this daily. Directed by Catherine van Campen, "Flying Anne" documents Anne's experiences and the challenges of self-acceptance for children with Tourette’s syndrome. The film runs for 21 minutes.
