Synopsis
Professor Richard Freund from Hartford University investigates the legendary civilization of Atlantis in Doñana National Park, located north of Cadiz, Spain. Using satellite photography, ground-penetrating radar, and underwater exploration, Freund's team searches for evidence of the ancient city described by Plato in 360 BC. They focus on marshlands, conducting surveys to find clues that may confirm the existence of this civilization, believed to have been destroyed by a natural disaster around 9,000 BC.
