Synopsis
A young journalist retraces the footsteps of female teenage soldiers who participated in The Long March, a military retreat in China from 1934 to 1937. Over 200,000 troops traveled more than 12,500 kilometres under extreme conditions. As she journeys through the landscapes of this historical event, she encounters stories of courage and survival amid deprivation and brutality. The film reflects on her identity while revealing the untold experiences of these young women.
