Synopsis

Teuvo Tulio, a legendary Finnish film director, was born in a remote village in Latvia near the Russian border, where he was known as Fedya during his childhood. After a chance discovery of his origins, local authorities erect a memorial stone in his honor. However, the villagers express confusion and frustration over the sudden attention, as many have never heard of Tulio or seen his films. The documentary captures the tension between local sentiment and the legacy of a celebrated filmmaker.
