Synopsis
In Hui'an, Fujian province, a woman discovers her husband has contracted a venereal disease. In response, she targets a local hotel and a barber shop, both known for secret prostitution, by planting four explosives. Over four years, Da Yi's film investigates the motivations behind her drastic actions. It questions how a devoted wife and mother resorts to such extreme measures in a community marked by hidden vices. The documentary runs for 52 minutes and was released in 1998.
