Synopsis

A former seaman, a teacher, and a veterinarian gather in a funeral home. They share a common job: conducting funerals. Each has a different reason for this work. For one, it is a passion; for another, it is a duty. A struggling actress and a policeman also join this group, each contributing their own perspective on the role of funerals in society. Directed by Inese Kļava, Ex-Amen runs for 26 minutes and was released in 2005.
