Synopsis
Hayk, a theater director, flees Armenia for Moscow during the late 1980s as conflict unfolds. The 1988 earthquake and the Nagorno-Karabakh war disrupt lives and force many into exile. This documentary examines Hayk's new life in Moscow and the sense of loss and identity faced by many Armenians. It presents personal narratives alongside historical events leading to the disintegration of the Soviet Union.
