Synopsis

Barredos, a town marked by the closure of the Carrio well, faces the threat of depopulation. The documentary features testimonies from local residents who recall the town's vibrant past. Corsino García Alonso, a local photographer and grandfather of the author, provides mid-20th century photographs that capture the essence of Barredos during its industrial peak. These oral histories and visual materials contrast sharply with the current, empty post-industrial environment, preserving the memory of a community in decline.
