Vallbona, a neighborhood in Barcelona, is shaped by its isolation from the surrounding areas, bordered by the Besòs river and a commuter railway. Directed by José Luis Guerin, Good Valley Stories captures daily life in this community, where the first post-war migrants' homes stand alongside new residential blocks. Commissioned by the MACBA for an exhibition on disadvantaged groups, the film presents a humanistic portrayal of the social and ecological challenges faced by residents. It premiered at the 73rd San Sebastián International Film Festival on 25 September 2025.
