Every year in America, 43 billion kgs of food is thrown away. This documentary follows filmmaker Jeremy Seifert and his friends as they dumpster-dive in the back alleys of Los Angeles’ supermarkets. They salvage thousands of dollars worth of good, edible food, challenging the practices of some of America’s biggest supermarkets.
