Synopsis
In the Junggar Basin of western China, palaeontologists excavate the Pit of Death, a significant site for dinosaur remains. Here, fossils are stacked four to five high, including well-preserved skeletons of a T. rex ancestor and a triceratops ancestor. Nearly 40 species from 160 million years ago have been found in this location. The documentary features high-resolution CGI to reconstruct these ancient bones, offering insights into a crucial period of dinosaur evolution.
