Synopsis

KIM Soonak lived in the prostitute quarters during the Japanese occupation of Korea. After surviving sex slavery by the Japanese military, she continued to face struggles in her daily life. KIM worked in a US military camp town and sold goods from the military to support her two children as a single mother. The film reconstructs her life story through interviews with activists, archival footage, animation, and read-aloud testimony, offering insight into her experiences and legacy.
