Synopsis

Kites and harriers, among the lightest birds of prey, exhibit remarkable aerial displays while searching for mates and hunting in open areas. Unlike their more commonly recognized counterparts, such as eagles and falcons, these birds face challenges due to human-induced changes in their habitats, leading to a decline in prey populations like mice and hamsters. Despite these threats, kites and harriers demonstrate significant adaptability, showing signs of population recovery as they navigate the evolving landscape of their environments.
