Synopsis
Wu Youjian, a gay rights activist and mother, supports her son and other gay men in China. The documentary features interviews with openly homosexual individuals. They recount experiences of discrimination, violence, and the challenges of coming out in a society that pressures many to stay in the closet. These personal stories reveal moments of compassion amidst the struggle for acceptance. The film runs for 88 minutes and was released in 2009.
