Synopsis

Midi returns to a port in Myanmar after years away, having waited six months to obtain his first passport. Since June 2023, the country has been engulfed in civil war between the government and rebel forces. As Midi navigates his homeland, he confronts the rising anxiety and suffering of its people. Despite his deep connection to the land, he realizes he can never truly return to the life he once knew.
