Synopsis
Abike, played by Klein, faces challenges in the social care system after being moved between foster homes. The film, shot in Spring 2021, blends autobiography, musical elements, and animation. Klein wrote, directed, edited, and scored the feature, which includes contributions from musicians Mica Levi and Kwake Bass. Poet Fred Moten plays Abike's father. Illustrations are by Evie O'Connor.
