Synopsis

In 2018, Cape Town narrowly averted a catastrophic water crisis, facing the threat of completely running out of drinking water. As South Africa ranks 29th among the world's most water-scarce countries, this event serves as a warning for future challenges. The city council responds by implementing urgent measures to protect water supplies, including a policy of limited access.
