Yuling Fang, a master of Peking Opera, emigrates from China to New York City, where he finds work in a nail salon. Faced with the reality that his art form is fading and has no successor, Fang decides to stage an amateur production. This effort aims to preserve the traditions of Peking Opera and share his passion with a new audience. The film captures his determination to keep alive a cultural legacy in a foreign land.
