Synopsis

This episode is a journey around the saltmarshes of Italy, starting from Sardinia and ending with Venice. Showcasing the Po delta, the second largest wetland in the Mediterranean. Wolves have only been in this area for a few years. They hunt coypu but will soon sniff out the deer in the valley, too, and for these herbivores, destined to become prey, the clock will turn back centuries to the Middle Ages, when the wolf was the most efficient predator to stalk the banks of the river Po before mankind hunted them to extinction.
