Border Cut

Synopsis

In a tiny Polish village, Halina, an elderly hairdresser, runs a salon with her young assistant, Angela. They serve a clientele of German seniors who cross the border for affordable haircuts. As clients settle into the barber chair, they share their dreams, fears, and life stories. Halina hopes Angela will remain by her side until the end, but Angela faces a choice between her own aspirations and loyalty to Halina. The film captures their daily interactions and the bonds formed in the salon.
