Synopsis
In the valley of the Kibbish River, the Surma face threats from their longtime enemies, the Bumis. During a severe famine, the King of Surma, Dishmore, prepares his people for conflict. He calls for a Donga, a traditional duel that tests the strength and skill of the warriors. Wole Kiwo participates, ultimately trading his stick for a Kalashnikov. As tensions rise, the Surma warriors stand ready to defend their territory against the Bumis, who have encroached on their land.
