A couple of musicians abandon their plantation in late nineteenth-century Martinique to pursue a career in a town focused solely on Western music.
Synopsis
Hermansia and Tiquitaque, two musicians, leave their plantation in Martinique in the late nineteenth century. They move to Saint-Pierre, but soon find disappointment as the local community prefers Western music. Their struggle for recognition leads them to explore diverse sounds and styles. Over time, the couple adapts and evolves, reflecting their challenges in a changing musical environment.
