Synopsis
Kisha Batista, Trevon Haynes, Octavio Sanders, and Chin Tsui reunite in New York City, 25 years after the original film, The Aggressives. The documentary follows their lives from 2018 to 2023, capturing their experiences as masculine of center lesbians. Three of the subjects transitioned during this period. They confront personal challenges, including loss and health issues, while expressing their identities. Directed by Daniel Peddle, Beyond the Aggressives had its world premiere at NewFest on October 18, 2023, and will stream on Showtime in spring 2024.
