Ko has taken hormones for eight years, believing he must become completely masculine to gain acceptance. Han has undergone breast removal to pursue a path toward being ungendered. Kim navigates confusion despite receiving a new male legal identity. "3xFTM," a 2009 documentary, follows these three individuals as they confront their identities and experiences in a society that often struggles to understand them. The film runs for 115 minutes.
