Synopsis
At Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, doctors face the challenge of reversing death. Over six months, they work with a man who can only communicate by moving his eyes. His condition raises urgent questions about life and death when he is asked if he wants to live or die. Two other families also confront difficult decisions regarding their loved ones' futures. The documentary presents the ethical dilemmas faced in modern medicine.
