Teun, a 24-year-old man, lives in a nursing home where many residents have dementia. His choice to stay in a closed ward prompts him to reflect on aging and mortality. Interactions with elderly residents reveal their experiences and struggles. Throughout the 80-minute documentary, Teun confronts themes of memory and identity while seeking to understand his own future. Directed by Jonathan de Jong, "Human Forever" examines life’s fragility through the lens of youth and old age.
