Synopsis
In-hi Hwang visits shaman Hae-kyung Lee after experiencing paralysis in her upper body. Her family has suffered a series of accidents, which In-hi believes to be a curse. Through her sessions with Lee, In-hi learns she is destined to become a shaman. The film addresses the role of Korean shamans as intermediaries between the living and the spirit world. This practice has existed for 5,000 years, often met with disdain by society.
