Synopsis

Ukrainian State Forest guard Pavlovych manages logging brigades in a forest he feels he owns. He balances state, private, and illegal orders while adhering to his own moral code. As he discovers theft within his team, he faces the impending rainy season. The film documents his struggle between integrity and corruption in the logging industry.
