Baracoa

Synopsis

Leonel, a 9-year-old boy, spends his summer in a small village in the Cuban countryside with his best friend Antuán, who is 13. The two have been inseparable since childhood. As summer ends, Antuán prepares to move to Habana, which may mark the end of their friendship. The documentary captures their final days together, filled with play and reflection, as they confront the reality of separation. The film runs for 89 minutes and was released in 2021.
