Synopsis

In Batangas, residents confront aggressive development that threatens their barangay and the surrounding mangrove ecosystem. Local voices share personal accounts of the impact on their community and the environment. Through interviews and on-the-ground footage, the film captures their collective efforts to protect vital natural resources. The urgency of their fight reflects the challenges faced by the local population as they seek to preserve their environment for future generations. Directed by Pearl Barcos, the documentary runs for 11 minutes.
