Synopsis

Michel lives in the Ukrainian mountains, tending to endangered water buffaloes. After a decade of solitude, he falls in love with Vera, a woman from his hometown in Germany who has two children. Michel moves back to Germany to build a family with Vera. As he navigates this new life, he faces a critical choice: whether to pursue love at the cost of his dream of a simple, isolated existence.
