Synopsis

A groundbreaking team of experts across Europe aims to create the world's first clinically approved artificial womb to save the lives of premature babies. Each year, nearly a million babies die due to complications from premature birth. The urgency is highlighted by the story of James, who was born at just 24 weeks in 2012 and tragically died two months later after being placed in an incubator.
