Synopsis

In Ukraine, children with a rare skin disease face severe challenges. Each year, only 5-6 are born with this condition. Many do not survive infancy. The film follows mothers who provide essential care to their fragile children. One mother states, “The most important thing for a child is a stable, reliable mother.” She emphasizes the need for constant support, regardless of the child's pain or distress. Directed by Anna Korzh, "Always There" runs for 24 minutes and addresses the realities of caregiving in difficult circumstances.
