Synopsis

Elí spends a month at sea on each fishing trip, enduring the physical toll of his work. He feels increasingly disconnected from life on land. The ocean serves as his refuge. When a shipwreck becomes a grim possibility, Elí faces a troubling decision: he sees no choice but to lead his son down the same path. Directed by Ernesto Jara Vargas, Altamar runs for 83 minutes.
