Synopsis

In the South African desert, the Khoisan people share their ancient knowledge as the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) takes shape. This documentary, directed by Dane Dodds, presents the construction of the world's largest radio telescope alongside the perspectives of indigenous communities. As the SKA's antennae reach toward the cosmos, the film addresses the collaboration and tension between traditional wisdom and modern scientific inquiry. It questions the role of indigenous voices in contemporary astronomical research and their connection to the universe.
