Synopsis

Gorongosa National Park in Mozambique, once teeming with wildlife, faces a stark reality. Fifteen years of civil war have decimated many species, leaving giant crocodiles as one of the few remaining predators. The park, covering 1,500 square miles, is now the focus of an ambitious restoration project. Efforts are underway to reintroduce elephants, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, and buffalo to revive this vital ecosystem.
