Synopsis

Renée Levi, a contemporary artist born in Istanbul in 1960, moved to Switzerland at the age of six. Her work reflects her Sephardic heritage and commitment to female identity. The film covers her recent public art installation in Istanbul, completed in September 2022, and her exhibitions across France, Germany, and Italy over the past decade. Levi is recognized as one of the few leading women in abstract expressionism, naming her works after women to celebrate their contributions.
