Synopsis
Hiam Abbass leaves her Palestinian village of Deir Hanna in the Lower Galilee to pursue acting in Europe. After thirty years, she returns with her daughter, Lina Soualem, to confront the choices she made, including leaving behind her mother, grandmother, and seven sisters. The film captures their conversations about family, sacrifice, and identity.
