Synopsis

At Chatchan Bupphawan's home in Mukdahan, family and friends gather each December to remember him. Known as 'Comrade Phuchana', he was found dead in the Mekong River in December 2018, six years after fleeing Thailand following the 2014 military coup. The investigation into his death remains unresolved. Despite the lack of progress, his loved ones come together to celebrate his life and seek healing, holding onto hope for justice for political exiles and victims of enforced disappearance.
