Synopsis

Sébastien Aubin, a graphic artist from Winnipeg and a member of Manitoba's Opaskwayak Cree Nation, navigates a dual existence between modern life and traditional Indigenous practices. Under the guidance of healer Mark Thompson, Aubin embarks on an apprenticeship in traditional Indigenous medicine, seeking to reconnect with his cultural roots. Set against the backdrop of an environmental crisis, the film highlights the stark contrast between contemporary values and ancestral wisdom, emphasizing the importance of identity and spirituality in today's fast-paced world.
