Burzet, a small town in Ardeche, comes alive each Good Friday as locals gather to reenact the Via Crucis. This solemn pageantry commemorates Jesus's Crucifixion through a series of rituals. Filmmaker Courant documented this annual event 24 times from 1980 to 2003. The film captures the dedication of the community in preserving this religious tradition over two decades.
