Synopsis
At 68 Xisheng Road in Zhili, workers begin their day in one of the town's many small factories dedicated to children's clothing. Zhili, part of Huzhou in Zhejiang province, produces 80 percent of China's children's apparel. Filmed in August 2016, 15 Hours captures the daily routines of over 200,000 migrant workers who sustain this industry. Since the 1980s, Zhejiang has fostered a private capital-based garment sector, allowing diverse operators to thrive through flexible business models.
